J. Eric Nickols

J. Eric Nickols was born in Waxahachie, Texas and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Howard Payne University in 1998. After coaching and teaching at a local high school for 2 years, he then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he was awarded his Juris Doctorate in 2003.

After graduating from law school, Eric returned to Texas where he spent the next 14 years working as an Assistant District Attorney in Tarrant County and as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Texas.  During Eric’s tenure as a state and federal prosecutor, he litigated cases involving white collar crimes, sexual assault, murder, DWI, and aggravated felonies.  Eric gained extensive trial experience as a prosecutor before helping to start Nickols & White, PLLC.
